Hi, I'm Lee

Hello, great to be here, I might as well kick off the discussion, share a little bit about myself.

I'm Lee, the creator of Lighthouse, I live in Essex, a village close to Colchester, married, a couple of kids, both grown up, and I'm probably a lot older than you think.

Retired at 50, did nothing for 5 years, became really unwell, took a lump sum from my pension, started Venture, thought it would be semi easy, I was wrong, struggled for business, started coding again, created Lighthouse, and here we are.

About Lighthouse

Took about six months to create the software, and a further six months to create the infrastructure to support it, you'd be surprised at how much work is involved in providing commercial software, fitting it all together into one system, where logins are linked over three domains, building the ecommerce, and membership parts, these forums and the video hosting site.

Using this Community

I want this community to be an open and respectful place, where we can share ideas, help each other both in using Lighthouse, and helping other members grow their business.

While Lighthouse is primarily a financial management system, the CRM aspects are important too. As I've found starting a business is easy, growing a business is hard, which is where you can help.

Once you learn how to use Lighthouse, why not stick around and help new members learn too, better still provide suggestions on what we can do to improve Lighthouse, what features would like us to add?
